Don't expect to see Alex Rodriguez on Season 4 of The Real Housewives of New York City.
Though Page Six reported that Rodriguez, 35, had his arm around Kelly Bensimon as the two flirted at the Art Basel party in Miami Tuesday, a rep for the pro athlete insists there's no budding romance between the twosome.

"The whole story about Kelly and A-Rod is absolute, unadulterated hogwash," the rep tells UsMagazine.com exclusively.
"There were 1,500 people at that party at Wall, and Kelly was one of many that were clamoring to meet him," a source added. "The suggestion that he had his arms around her and they were flirting is a cheap attention-getting ploy."

Another insider close to the New York Yankees player points out that the 42-year-old reality star "is not exactly his material. She is a sponge for attention, and this is a case where an accidental collision at a party was used to enhance her profile."

Perhaps Rodriguez ignored Bensimon's advances because his on-again, off-again relationship with Cameron Diaz is heating up again: the couple was spotted enjoying a romantic Mexican vacation on Thanksgiving.
