As someone who's never colored her hair (that's right -- it's "virgin!"), you can imagine my dismay when I looked in the mirror and spied a wiry, gray strand sprouting out of my hairline just above my right temple. Of course I yanked that sucker right out -- with holiday parties galore, this is not time to debut a gray hair!
Likewise, if you've got not time to hit the salon, but have visible roots, let me share a celeb tried and true solution. Word has it luminaries like Eva Longoria hide their grays in between salon visits with an at-home root touch-up kit. The best news is that most of these formulas work in 10 minutes, so no matter how crazed you may be shopping, cooking or simply making the most of party season, there's time to refresh your roots.
