The country superstar's wife, Allison, gave birth to daughter Madeline Leigh at 4:49 p.m. in Nashville Friday. Weighing in at 6 lb., 9 oz., Madeline is the first child for the couple, who wed in May 2004.
"Allison and I are thrilled" Jay, 39, tells UsMagazine.com in a statement. "Madeline is absolutely gorgeous -- she looks just like her daddy! Both mom and baby are doing well."
