No hard feelings between LeAnn Rimes and ex-husband Dean Sheremet.

Shortly after UsMagazine.com exclusively announced Sheremet, 29, popped the question to fashion photographer Sarah Silver, his ex-wife congratulated the happy couple via Twitter.

"Congrats to @deansheremet and @sarah_silver on your engagement! A little birdie told me the happy news last night," Rimes, 28, tweeted Saturday. "Wishes for a life full of happiness."

Though several of Rimes' Twitter followers questioned the validity of her sentiments, she insists she's glad Sheremet has found love again.

"I'm really happy for their happiness. It's amazing to have that," she responded to one fan. "I mean it! I'm really happy for them," she told another.

According to a source, Sheremet proposed to Silver in their NYC apartment Friday while "they were having a nice morning together," adding that he and Silver are already "planning on a summer wedding in NYC."

Dean Sheremet is ready to make an honest woman out of Sarah Silver!

A source tells UsMagazine.com exclusively that Sheremet, 29, proposed to his live-in love Friday morning in their NYC apartment.

"They were having a nice morning together and the moment felt right, so he proposed," a source tells Us.

The Nobu 57 chef, who graduated first in his class from Manhattan's French Culinary Institute in March, "gave her a beautiful antique ring" from the 1950s, set in white gold and weighing in at 3 carats.

"She is an amazing, talented woman," Sheremet gushed to Us in July of his photographer girlfriend. "We have a lot in common and we are both very happy."

Since accepting his proposal, Silver "is elated," says a source. "They're planning on a summer wedding in NYC."

This won't be the first marriage for Sheremet; the former backup dancer divorced country singer LeAnn Rimes in June, more than a year after Us Weekly broke the news of her affair with actor Eddie Cibrian (who was married to model Brandi Glanville at the time).

Report: LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian Are Engaged!

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are ready to tie the knot, E! News reports.

Sources claim the singer, 28, has accepted a marriage proposal from the actor, whom she began dating while she was still married to backup dancer Dean Sheremet in 2009.

"What happened is not who I am, period," Rimes explained of her extramarital affair while appearing on In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville Wednesday. "But I do know how much I love [Cibrian]. So I've always said I don't live my life with regret. I can't."

Cheating aside, the singer told Roberts that "we're talking about something that's over a year, year and-a-half old, really, and we're still together, and we're madly in love."

So did Cibrian -- who has two sons with ex Brandi Glanville -- hint at an engagement earlier this week?

The actor, 37, tweeted a photo of himself on bended knee standing next to Rimes on Halloween. But the following morning, Rimes told fans it was merely a joke.

"Ok, it was a 'TRICK-or-treat right!" she tweeted. "@eddiecibrian and I were having a little fun...@eddiecibrian is WAY more romantic than to proper [sic] to me in front of a 'lunatic' sign. Just thought it was too funny not to share a little 'TRICK!'"

A rep for Rimes had no comment.

LeAnn Rimes - who, according to E! News, is engaged to Eddie Cibrian - skipped Shape's party Thursday night to honor her third time appearing on the magazine's cover.

Her rep insists it had nothing to do with a letter of apology editor Valerie Latona sent to readers who were upset at the November cover featuring the country crooner, who famously had an affair with Eddie Cibrian on a Lifetime movie set last year.

She has also canceled a show Friday at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, N.Y.

"Unfortunately she caught the flu, and under doctor's orders was advised not to travel or go out," her rep says.
