David Arquette has checked into rehab, his rep confirms to UsMagazine.com.

"He's trying to win Courteney [Cox] back, and he turned back to drinking again out of frustration," the source tells Us. "He is doing this to show her he means it and will do anything for her and Coco. He wants his family life back. It's been so hard on him."

On an appearance on the Howard Stern Show in December, Arquette, 39, admitted to drinking heavily after his October split from Cox, his wife of 11 years. "I've been drinking a lot because I'm heartbroken. It's really a personal, traumatic thing."

Arquette also noted that his actions were causing concern. "Everybody is worried and concerned about me," he said.

Kirsten Dunst Opens Up About "Awful" Rehab Experience

Two years after she checked herself into the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah, Kirsten Dunst is ready to talk about about her struggle with depression.

"I know what it's like to lose yourself, to no longer know the difference between right or wrong," Dunst, 28, tells the December 2010/January 2011 issue of BlackBook.

PHOTOS: Troubled child stars

According to the actress, coming to terms with her own personal demons allowed her to more fully embody her character in All Good Things (in theaters December 9).

"I was ready to play something like that," she explains. "I had been living life on the surface, emotionally, and I was feeling really vulnerable, so I was prepared to do anything at that point.'"

PHOTOS: Other stars making a comeback

Still, Dunst admits that the attention surrounding her 2008 rehab stint made her wary about getting back into the spotlight -- particularly because she was falsely accused of seeking treatment for drug and alcohol abuse.

"I used to assume that I'd [continue acting] forever, and then there came a point in my life when I was like, 'Why am I doing this at all?'" she recalls. Once she checked into the Cirque Lodge, "My friends and family were put in a position where they had to defend me, and it was an awful time."

So why did the actress, who is currently dating Rilo Kiley drummer Jason Boesel, decide to finally share her story?

"On a personal level, I would talk to anybody about it, but not on a public level," Dunst explains. "If I do that, then the next person feels like they can ask me about it, and the person after that, until everyone then feels entitled to ask me about it, and that’s not coming from a good place."

Keith Urban Thought Rehab Would "Destroy" Nicole Kidman Marriage

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman were still newlyweds --- married for about four months -- when he checked into rehab for drug and alcohol addiction in October 2006.

Urban, 43, worried that the time away would wreak havoc on their new union.

"[I thought], 'Surely let's give it a few years so we've got some solidity, because this kind of thing could tear us apart,'" the country singer said Monday on The Oprah Winfrey Show. "'This could just destroy us.'"?

But it was Kidman herself, plus a few close pals, who staged an intervention for Urban, who was hooked on cocaine and other substances.

"It was really a profound moment in so many ways," the crooner said of the intervention. "The way in which Nic handled that moment was just perfect...Everything was just designed, I believe, for that moment to fuse us together."

It was, in fact, Urban's third time in rehab in 8 years. "I had to make a decision which road I was going to take, once and for all," he said. "I'd been at that crossroads before and always taken the wrong road."

What was different this time?

"Love," he told Oprah Winfrey.

Urban left for rehab the same night as that intervention, he said. "I didn't care about anything else."

He gushed of his wife (and mother to daughter Sunday Rose, nearly 2): "I look back now and realize Nic has taught me so much and brought so much into my life and opened my eyes in so many ways...[This is] the best place I've ever been."

Actress Kidman also opened up on Oprah about their enduring romance. "I think marriage is about, every day, trying to make it better and working through things and when things are tough, saying, 'I'm going to come to you and talk,'" the Rabbit Hole star mused. "We're just very tight, and we stay really tight."

Australian like her husband, Kidman has really taken to their new life in Nashville, Tenn. "Some people like the much higher sort of more glamorous lifestyle," she said. For us, we just prefer a much quieter, private [life]."

Her favorite things to do with Sunday Rose, who they sometimes call "Sunny": Sharing her cappuccino foam -- and taking baths.

"I love her little shoulders, you know?" Kidman cooed. "She's in the bath, and I see those tiny little shoulders. Oprah, don't get me started!"

Lindsay Lohan may be home for the holidays after all.

PHOTOS: How stars are celebrating Thanksgiving

Though the actress will remain in a court-mandated rehab facility until January 3, TMZ reports the Betty Ford Clinic has given Lindsay a 15-hour day pass to leave the rehab facility.

The 24-year-old Mean Girls star will now reportedly spend Thanksgiving with her father, Michael Lohan; several friends are expected to join the recently reunited duo for dinner as well.

Earlier this week, the actress was hit with some sobering news: She is being replaced by Malin Akerman in the porn biopic Inferno.

PHOTOS: How Lindsay's face has changed

"Lindsay had scheduling issues due to legal obligations and is continuing to focus on getting better in rehabilitation in Palm Springs. She really had to focus on that in our opinion -- and hers," producer Chris Hanley told UsMagazine.com. "We wish the best to her and are sure she will succeed at her goals."
