Elizabeth Hurley's three-year marriage to Arun Nayar is on the rocks.

On Sunday, the model-actress, 45, Tweeted: "Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun and I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this."

Hurley's announcement coincided with a News of the World report claiming her alleged affair with cricketer Shane Warne; the tabloid has pictures and video of the couple kissing, and says that they spent the night together Wednesday at London's Bentley Hotel.

After ending her 13-year romance with Hugh Grant in 2000, Hurley began dating Indian textile heir Nayar in 2002. The duo wed lavishly in March 2007 -- first at a castle in England, and then at a palace in Jodhpur, India.

Elizabeth Edwards Dies at 61

Elizabeth Edwards, wife of former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, died at her Chapel Hill home on Tuesday morning after battling cancer for the last six years, MSNBC confirms.

"Today we have lost the comfort of Elizabeth's presence, but she remains the heart of this family," the Edwards family said in a statement.

"We love her and will never know anyone more inspiring or full of life. On behalf of Elizabeth, we want to express our gratitude to the thousands of kindred spirits who moved and inspired her along the way," the family added. "Your support and prayers touched our entire family."

First diagnosed in 2004, Elizabeth was surrounded by family and friends at the time of her passing, which included her estranged husband and three children: Cate, 28, Emma, 12, and Jack, 10. (In 1996, the couple lost their 16-year-old son, Wade, in car accident.)

On Monday, Elizabeth announced that she would no longer be seeking cancer treatment after physicians told the 61-year-old that she faced the possibility of having just weeks to live.

"You all know that I have been sustained throughout my life by three saving graces – my family, my friends, and a faith in the power of resilience and hope," Elizabeth wrote on her Facebook page. These graces have carried me through difficult times and they have brought more joy to the good times than I ever could have imagined.

"The days of our lives, for all of us, are numbered. We know that. And, yes, there are certainly times when we aren't able to muster as much strength and patience as we would like. It's called being human...It isn't possible to put into words the love and gratitude I feel to everyone who has and continues to support and inspire me every day. To you I simply say: you know."

Elizabeth separated from her husband in January after John acknowledged he fathered a child with Rielle Hunter, a former videographer from his unsuccessful run for President.

Celebs, Politicians React to Elizabeth Edwards' Passing

Leaders and Hollywood celebs alike are paying tribute to Elizabeth Edwards, who lost her six-year battle with cancer Tuesday morning. A best-selling author and furniture store owner, the 61-year-old was surrounded by her family and friends at the time of her passing.

"With the passing of Elizabeth Edwards, America has lost a symbol of strength, hope, and humanity, a tireless advocate for health care for all Americans, and determined crusader for cancer cures," former President Bill Clinton tells UsMagazine.com in a statement. "Her children have lost a loving mother, her friends a wise counselor.?My prayers are with them. She was a remarkable woman who dealt with the challenges her life dealt her with courage and grace."

Current Vice President Joe Biden, 68, also issued a statement: "Elizabeth Edwards fought a brave battle against a terrible, ravaging disease that takes too many lives every day. She was an inspiration to all who knew her, and to those who felt they knew her."

The two men weren't the only political heavyweights to comment on the 61-year-old's legacy: Bill's wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, also expressed her condolences in a written statement.

"America has lost a passionate advocate for building a more humane and just society, for reforming our health-care system, and for finding a cure for cancer once and for all," Hillary, 63, said. "But the Edwards family and her legion of friends have lost so much more — a loving mother, constant guardian, and wise counselor.

"Our thoughts are with the Edwards family at this time, and with all those people across the country who met Elizabeth over the years and found an instant friend -- someone who shared their experiences and offered empathy, understanding and hope."
